WARM AND COLD COLOURS (2º ESO)

Next activity we are going to do in the 2nd year group is about warm and cold colours. You know that colours can be grouped into colours ranges, in order to achive a more powerful result.

You will have to choose two famous paintings, and draw one of them with warm colours and the other one with cold colours. For example, you can choose "The guitarist" by Picasso for cold colours, and "The sunflowers" by Van Gogh for warm colours. This is just an example, you can choose other painting that you like it, even you can change its colours and make a personal version.

Remember to use a warm colour range to express lively and energy feelings in one drawing, and a cold colours range in the other picture, to transmit calmer and more intimate feelings.
